Animal Welfare
Knowledge Learning Labs is proud to support local animal welfare through ongoing service and financial support.
I sponsor a kennel at a local animal shelter, helping provide a safe, caring space for animals while they wait for their forever homes. In addition to that sponsorship, I volunteer at the shelter every week, working a 4.5-hour shift to help with the day-to-day care and support the animals need.
This work matters to me because shelters depend on consistent community support. Whether through donations, sponsorships, volunteer hours, or adoption, every contribution helps give animals a better chance at a healthy and happy life.
Knowledge Learning Labs is rooted in learning, service, and community. Supporting animal welfare is one way I try to put those values into practice.
Open Source
Knowledge Learning Labs contributes $50 each month to DDEV to support continued development of the local development tool used by many Drupal and PHP developers.
I also contribute directly to the Drupal project and am recognized as one of its top contributors. Open source depends on people giving back in many ways, including code, documentation, issue work, mentoring, testing, and financial support.
